Inspiration...

For too long now our eating, drinking and business practises have been disgraceful, wasteful, lazy and just plain greedy. This has to stop and the time is now. We, as the food and drink industry, must improve the way we operate business in every sense and aspect to restore the great damage to the environment we cause and are directly responsible for. This is why there was a need to create TED.

Much of the impact of our everyday consumption is forgotten. Businesses need to be greener, healthier and wiser in order to generate a real shift in society towards taking environmental responsibility for their consumption.

From food to paper, electricity to water and other numerous aspects, there are thousands of ways to reduce our impact on the environment. Even making simple business decisions such as changing supplier, all make a difference -without impacting on profitability, efficiency or sacrificing the quality of experience for your customer.
